Riiser CEO named board chairman
April 19th, 2012, MADISON -- Riiser Energy President and CEO Jim Kemerling has been appointed chairman of the Wisconsin Petroleum Marketers & Convenience Store Association board of directors. Kemerling and Richard Dudley purchased the Wausau-based company in 1999 from Tom Riiser, according to a WPMCA news release issued Wednesday. Riiser owns and operates 26 convenience stores, three truck stops, one restaurant and 25 delivery trucks, and has about 350 employees. "Representing the interests of our members is a great honor," Kemerling said in the news release. "As chairman of the WPMCA Board, I will work to protect our members' interests in these challenging economic times. There are many important issues impacting our industry and I look forward to working with our members to educate Wisconsin's legislators to help them understand the important impact our industry has on Wisconsin's economy." We've been remodeling!
R-Store and Riiser Energy have been doing some remodeling! Our Wausau 6th Street store has undergone a major improvement (see photos below), and the Hwy 10 East R-Store in Stevens Point has new, larger restrooms! We continue to improve in order to better serve you!
In addition, the new Hatley R-Store has a large section devoted to groceries (see photo below) and hot food items (pizza and a roller grill). We are proud to be a new member of the Hatley community!
